Gloria in Excelsis Deo!
I understand that there is much that Silence can teach us. It seems to be the backdrop to all life. Life as images, sounds, form, and movement changes, expresses, and re-expresses from and upon the field of Silence Itself. If you look closely, it is only possible to hear the crickets chirping because of the silence behind the chirping. The hustle and bustle of the city can only be that because of the silence upon which it is presented. It has even been said that the majority of the mind is already silent, and that what we pay attention to is the one percent that appears to be the endless thoughts. If we can notice, if only for a moment, that the mind is already silent, we can realize the Silent Field that is innate to our very Nature.
